Stiff Upper…
Today, in The New York Times, Moustaches (Moustaches!) were on full display. Since the dawning of this new year, I have yet to shave. My seven-day-old winter beard may live to see another day.
For the last three years, right around this time of year, one publication or another will claim that the “moustache is back!” Really, it’s just that the holidays are over and all the eating and partying wore us out. We grow beards because we think it’ll keep us warm. We grow them because we know they aren’t for everyone. We grow them because we can.
