What a horrible downturn beer can design has taken since these. As usual, it gets worse as the years go by. There’s not a bad seed in that group.

It’s true they don’t make them like they used to, but why not?
If a computer company, or a marketing firm, or something, had an overly complex design like modern beer cans do – with that 5 shade fade for text (miller light) or transparent mountain print made to look like condensation or something – people would say it looked as if it were from the 90’s or something. Simple graphics are back with firms and corporations, why can’t our manufacturers catch on?

Erin, I’m so behind the times.
D&D, the Flickr gallery is a treasure trove. A younger version of myself would have printed each one and doggedly sought out cans in mint condition.
Enrique, Mike, they sure don’t make ‘em like they used to. It’s the one great realization of our generation. A return to form is in order.
Did you see General Mill’s release of retro cereal boxes?

I remember the Lite Beer from the 80’s, when every supermarket had generic versions– fish sticks to cigarettes.
