The Denim Debate
The Denim Debate, the brainchild of my good friend Ryan Plett, acts as record and review of nearly two dozen pairs of raw denim from cult labels. For the uninitiated, the site will educate on the ever-growing phenomenon that is selvage denim. Ryan’s accumulated a group of friends to discuss their thoughts for one year as they break in a pair of premium selvage denim.
While I’ve worn selvage jeans for last several years, I’ve hesitated discussing it on all plaidout, because, as the debate demonstrates, the subject of denim is so vast, once breached, it’s possible to talk about it forever. I’ll try it for a year. Tune into The Denim Debate, where I’ll share my thoughts on a pair of jeans from New York’s 3Sixteen.

Now you’ve done it. Opened up the whole can of worms. I actually work right next to the Jean Shop in NYC, if need any disputes settled I suggest getting in touch with those guys. Their knowledge of Selvedage and denim in general is border line scary.

Denim.
Keep it on your legs.
Feel it, love it, wear it.
Nothing to debate here.
