Apolis Activism + Filson Factory Visit

This morning, Shea Parton of Apolis Activism sent over these shots of a trip he took recently to Seattle’s Filson factory. How jealous am I? The trip was all business, as Shea went to check on the production of their much anticipated collaboration, The Philanthropist Bag.

The bag utilizes a cotton canvas that is 17.5 ounces, 4.5 lighter than typical Filson canvas. Produced in Uganda in collaboration with Invisible Children, the canvas’ color is black. I’ve owned an otter green briefcase for three years. If I didn’t already carry it literally everywhere I go, I would buy this bag tomorrow.
