Paul Newman: Research, Register, Vote

Those who know me well understand that Paul Newman has long been one of the most inspiring characters in my life. His quotes about actions have been ringing especially true these days, and I am trying to allow for my actions to speak.

Today, August 29, 2020 starting at 12:30PM Eastern, Paul’s daughter Melissa Newman is handing out copies of a poster that she had Miggs Burroughs redesign. According to Dan Woog’s blog post, originally the photo, a nod to James Montgomery Flagg’s “Uncle Sam” painting, was accompanied by verbiage encouraging young citizens to vote for Lyndon Johnson.
