Designed by Indiana dentist Dr. Robert Angerman, a case filled with this tour t-shirt made for the band America found its way to Americans being held in Tehran during the Iran Hostage Crisis. A video of the hostages being released at Christmas, 1980, showed all but one of them wearing this t-shirt. They became such a sensation that fashion retailers and music stores the world over couldn't keep the shirts in stock. The T-Plus version of this t-shirt is the original and most-coveted. To find one in this condition is rare.
